Personal Stuff |
I am another one of those semi-professional wood turners.
Simply put, I am a hobbyist that occasionally sells a piece of his work.
I have been turning for almost thirty years. I have been a member
of the American Association of Woodturners since its inception. I teach wood turning and am a registered demonstrator with the American Association of Woodturners. I am also a founding member of the Alamo Woodturners Association and serve on their Board of Directors. |

Woodturning Interests |
I have lived in San Antonio since the Air Force dropped me here after 23
years of service. After another 22
years with GE Medical Systems as an MRI Engineer, my wife, Trudy
convinced me it was time to enjoy life. Now
I am content to work on her “Honey-do list”,
travel and, of course, turn. I enjoy teaching
and demonstrating and always try to visit turning clubs when we travel.
This has led to friendships from Seattle to Orlando. In between I
spend as much time with my new grandson as possible. |

Shop & Equipment |
I have the usual assortment of shop equipme nt.
Which means my garage is full. Although I enjoy anything to do with
wood, the time spent with my NOVA 3000 is the most satisfying. As my
Gallery reflects my interest cover almost everything but pens and
segmentation. |
